The Weekend Golfer’s Practice Plan (Only 90 Minutes a Week)

Most golfers don’t have time for daily practice — and that’s okay. You don’t need hours. You need structure.

This 90-minute weekly plan is built for real players with real schedules.

The 30-30-30 Formula

1️⃣ 30 Minutes – Putting

Start with:

  • 10 minutes short putts (3–6 feet)
  • 10 minutes lag putting
  • 10 minutes pressure drills

This alone can save 4–6 strokes per round.

2️⃣ 30 Minutes – Wedges

Work on three distances:

  • 30 yards
  • 50 yards
  • 70 yards

Distance control = more up-and-downs.

3️⃣ 30 Minutes – Full Swing

Don’t just hit balls — practice with purpose:

  • Pick targets
  • Change clubs every shot
  • Simulate holes

Make your range session feel like the course.

Bonus Tip: Track One Stat Only

Forget complicated analytics.
Track just one thing:
👉 Putts per round
Lower it, and your handicap drops.

Final Thoughts

Consistency beats intensity.
A focused 90-minute session is more powerful than random ball-hitting.
